Rat Blood Soup
RAT
BLOOD SOUP,
brilliant outpouring from the mind of the celebrated
WILL RATBLOOD, is now on the "Web"
or the "Net" or the "Innernet" or "The
Electonic Etherworld of Satan" or whatever
they call it in your area. It's all here, or rather, most of it is here;
the site contains old stuff and new, a selection of bits and graphics
from the zine's fifty-year history bound to bring a whole new generation
of readers to a periodical that has delighted so many for so long. There's
also info on back issues, and hopefully in the future some audio-related
things such as music from the Rat Blood Soup band. A graphic of the
incredibly cool Rat Blood Soup T-shirt should be up soon also. We know
that computer people have a slightly more difficult time with things
than do other folk, and with that in mind we've condensed articles,
replaced large words with more economical ones, and generally re-tooled
things to make them more accessible to a new, exciting-if-psychologically-limited
readership. As with everything on the "web" it is all very,
very exciting.
The Publication

Rat Blood Soup began around 1997 as a zine called willzine. After a few years that became Rat Blood Soup, which spawned a website late in 2001.
The zine includes writing of various forms and many graphics and cartoons. The zine contains essays, true stories and rants. Much of the zine could be described as satire. Much could be described as complete bullshit.
As of now there are no plans to continue the paper version.
